I've been working on my first children's book! My book signing will be this December at O'More College of Design in downtown Franklin. I will let everyone know more details when I find out. They will cost between $6.50 and $17 depending on whether we choose to do paperback or hardback. I began illustrating and writing the book while I was pregnant with Olivia. Here are two of the pages that are print-ready so that you can get a sneak peek! I'm so excited about it! Hope to see everyone at the book signing.

In Memory of
Anita Conchin Anderson

10/25/51 - 7/24/08

“Sweet Dreams Anita Bonita” was inspired by a true story that Anita Anderson shared with friends and family on her personal blog during her chemo therapy treatment for breast cancer. This short, sweet little story exemplifies how much Anita loved life and how she could put a smile on anyone’s face.

A portion of the book proceeds will go to the Anita Conchin Anderson Foundation in care of Tennessee Bank & Trust (9000 Carothers Parkway, Franklin, TN 37067). This foundation has been established in her honor and memory to further the various interests Anita had for
children, education, and breast cancer awareness.

At the time of her death, Anita was a kindergarten teacher at Oakview Elementary School following a move from the principal's
position at Winstead Elementary School. She was a longtime principal at Trinity Elementary School before going to Page Middle School.

Anita was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Jean Maples. She is survived by her husband, Rogers Anderson, her two sons, Wes and Russ and nephew Todd (Julie) Maples; two stepsons, Ryan (Laura) Anderson & Travis (Wren) Anderson; stepdaughter, Laura Anderson (Kevin) Howard; parents, Willard & Vonda Conchin; brothers, Gary Vestal (Mary Ann) Conchin & Barton Willard Conchin; sister, Tena Louise Conchin; and grandchildren, Chloe Rita & Zachary Maples and Olivia Wren Anderson.

hey Wren, I just found out that one of my really good friends from college, Katie Osteen, works at Page Middle and knew ANita. She also said she went to school with your husband...small world!
Your family is beautiful!
